Day 1 - Tel Aviv
Check-in at your choice of carefully selected, downtown hotel. This evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel . Meals D
Day 2 - Along the coast north to Tiberias
Tour the ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great, and visit the site of Megiddo , an ancient city inhabited for 5,000 years. Continue to your resort hotel in Tiberias, ideally situated overlooking the historic Sea of Galilee. Meals B,D
Day 3 - Along the shores and across the Sea of Galilee
Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and visit Capernaum where Jesus spent most of his ministry and chose his first disciples – Andrew, Peter, James and John. Visit the synagogue on a spot where Jesus once preached. Tabgha is the site of Christ’s miracle of feeding the 5,000, and at the Church of Multiplication the mosaic floor depicts a basket with loaves and two fishes. Drive on to the Mount of Beatitudes and the Golan Heights before returning to your hotel in Tiberias. Meals B,D
Day 4 - Through the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem
Visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine, and Nazareth, where he spent his childhood. See the Church of Annunciation and continue through the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem where you check-in to your choice of hotel. Meals B,D
Day 5 - Explore the Dead Sea & Masada
See the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and stop along the Dead Sea, with opportunity to swim at the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Continue to Masada where you ascend by cable car to visit the hilltop ruins and hear the chilling tale of its brave inhabitants. Meals B,D
Day 6 - Discover Jerusalem
Today’s tour includes the Yad Vashem Memorial to the Holocaust, the home of John the Baptist and the Church of Visitation. Visit the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Then drive by the Knesset (Parliament) and the campus of Hebrew University. Meals B,D
Day 7 - Exploring ancient Jerusalem
Today’s tour includes the Mount of Olives, a stop at the site where Jesus first gave the Lord’s Prayer, and the Garden of Gethsemane. See the Western Wall and Temple Mount and walk the Way of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Just outside the Old City is Mount Zion, with the traditional tomb of David and the Room of the Last Supper. Meals B,D
