Day 1 - Welcome to Vilnius
Check in to your choice of city-center hotel, the inviting Novotel or the deluxe Radisson SAS Astorija, a turn-of-the-century gem in the heart of Old Town.
Day 2 - Tailor your stay in Vilnius
Customize your vacation and pursue your own personal interests with the included Privately Guided excursion of your choice. Meals B
- City Tour: With your own personal guide leading the way, explore the history and architecture of this lovely city, which marked its 1,000th Anniversary in 2009! Your tour through Old Town includes Town Hall Square, the Cathedral and the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
- Trakai Castle: Journey into the picturesque, lake-dotted countryside surrounding Vilnius to the ancient town of Trakai to visit the eponymous Trakai Castle. Begun in the 14th century on the shores of Lake Galve, the Castle is an excellent example of northern Gothic architecture. The Duke’s Palace, surrounded by thick defensive walls is especially impressive.
Day 3 - By chauffeured car to Riga
Traveling comfortably with your personal car and driver, you’ll journey through the scenic countryside into Latvia to the handsome capital city of Riga. Check in to the hotel of your choice, the stylish Reval Elizabeta or the distinguished Grand Palace Hotel. Meals B

- City Tour: Explore Riga’s splendidly preserved architecture, much from the 17th and 18th centuries, including merchant homes, guild halls and churches. See the Riga Cathedral and ‘The Three Brothers.’ Dating to the 15th century, these three adjacent houses are the oldest stone buildings in Riga, and they present an excellent example of medieval architecture in northern Europe. Then browse the lively Central Market, housed in vintage World War I zeppelin hangars!
- The Latvian Ethnographic Museum: Immerse in Latvian history, culture and traditions at this unique open air museum. See traditional architecture, learn about the country’s rich heritage of arts and crafts, and sample fine Latvian food and drink.
- Jurmala: Journey outside of the capital to the town of Jurmala. This former playground of the Soviet elite and high-level Party officials is filled with romantic Art Nouveau homes and picturesque beaches.
Day 5 - To Tallinn by private car
Today’s journey with your private car and driver brings you to the capital of Estonia. Arrive here in Tallinn and check in to the first class Hotel Sokos Viru or the deluxe Radisson SAS. Meals B
