Day 1 - Welcome to Leon!
Upon arrival at the Managua airport, you’ll be warmly greeted for your private car journey to the Colonial city of Leon, once the capital of Nicaragua.
After lunch at Cana Brava, a charming city restaurant, continue with your personal guide to explore the highlights of this historic city founded in 1524. See the impressive Cathedral (the largest in Central America), visit the Ortiz Gurdian Art Gallery and admire the colorful murals that grace the city. Overnight at the comfortable El Convento Hotel.

Day 2 - Onward to Granada
Today’s private car sightseeing takes you to Masaya National Park. Observe the volcanic activity of the Santiago crater and visit the museum. Then experience the rhythms of daily life at the popular Masaya Market – also a great place to browse and bargain for handicrafts and souvenirs.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and visit charming Catarina, famed for its whitewashed homes and picture-perfect views over the Apoyo Lagoon and Granada. Then visit San Juan de Oriente, renowned for its skilled pottery artisans and continue on to your hotel in Granada, the Plaza Colon Hotel.

Day 3 - The Crater Trail and Colonial Highlights of Granada
A thrilling day unfolds as you journey in 4WD vehicles through the pristine cloud forests that carpet the slopes of the Mombacho Volcano. Upon reaching the summit, a guided hike reveals the unique flora, fauna and cultural history of the region.
The afternoon finds you back in Granada, exploring the landmarks of the oldest Colonial city in the Americas, including La Merced Church and the San Francisco Convent, home to an impressive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts.
