Day 1 - Lhasa, Tibet
Upon arrival at the airport, our guide is on-hand to escort you by private car to the 4-star Tibet Hotel, where we’ve reserved a comfortable guestroom in the VIP Building. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax and acclimate to the altitude.
Day 2 - Explore Lhasa
Your private car, driver and guide await this morning to show you some of Tibet’s most significant sites including the Potala Palace , Jokhang Monastery and the lively Barkhor Market. Meals B,L,D
Day 3 - Lhasa / Gyangtze
Visit Sang Ding Monastery and see Lake Yamdrok Yumtso, one of three holy Tibetan lakes, as you journey with your private car, driver and guide to the peaceful town of Gyangtze. A picnic lunch has been arranged for you today, and you’ll also stop by a primary school for insight into daily life here in Tibet. You are encouraged to bring paper and other school supplies for the classrooms that you will visit. You’ll overnight at the comfortable Gyangtze Hotel.

Day 4 - Gyangtze / Xigaze
Join your guide this morning for a private tour of Baiju Monastery and Gyangtze’s charming Old Town, rich with old Tibetan architecture. Stop in a small nearby village to see a traditional water mill and visit Pala Manor, the former estate of the once-powerful Pala family. En route to Xigaze, you’ll spend time with a village family to learn more about the rhythms of daily Tibetan life outside of the city. Overnight at the Manasarovar Hotel.

Day 5 - Xigaze / Lhasa
Tour the stunning golden-roofed Tashtlhunpo Monastery and then return by private car to the Tibet Hotel in Lhasa.
