Day 1 - Welcome to Lhasa, Tibet!
Check in to the Four Points Sheraton, a superior first class hotel, ideally located close to Jokhang Monastery and the lively Barkhor Market.
Day 2 - Lhasa… in-depth & privately guided
Join your personal guide to visit the magnificent Potala Palace , former residence of the Dali Lama. Then continue on Jokhang Temple and Sera Monastery. Meals B,L,D
Day 3 - Over the Kanbala Pass to Shigatse
Traveling in a private Jeep with a driver and your experienced mountain guide, you ascend to 15,680 feet through the Kanbala Pass with great views over Yamdrok Yumtso Lake. Day 4 - Across the “Roof of the World”
Visit Tashihunpo Monastery, largest in town, and admire the Buddhist frescoes of Sakya Monastery. From Gyatsola Pass (17,000 feet), Mt. Everest can be seen on a clear day. Drive to New Tingri and settle in to the Tingri Qomolangma Hotel, the finest in town. Meals B,L,D
Day 5 - Mt. Everest Base Camp
Arise early to visit Rongbuk Monastery, the highest in the world. Continue by horse-drawn cart to the Mt. Everest Base Camp, where you’ll have time to explore and revel in the experience before returning to New Tingri. Meals B,L,D
Day 6 - Overland to the border to Zhangmu

Day 7 - Into Nepal & on to Kathmandu

Day 8 - In & around Kathmandu
